Welcome from the President
Dear Friend,
Thank you for your interest in Carolina Bible Institute & Seminary. Our mission is to equip men and women with a strong knowledge of the Word of God and the tools to serve the Lord faithfully.
At CBIS, you can begin with our required foundational course, Bible Chronology, which takes students through the entire Bible and its major doctrines. From there, students can pursue diplomas, associate’s, bachelor’s, master’s, and advanced degrees in Ministry, Theology, or Christian Education. We offer flexible study options—on campus or online—so that every student has an opportunity to grow.
If you’re ready to prepare yourself for greater service, we invite you to join us. It’s never too late to begin!
Yours in Christ,
Dr. Eric Narron, President
General Information
Founded in 1975 by Dr. Floyd B. Cherry, Carolina Bible Institute began as a Bible Institute and expanded to include a Seminary in 1987. We are located in Pine Level, NC, near the intersection of I-95 and US 70, making us accessible from every direction.
We are independent, Baptistic in theology, and committed to faithfully teaching God’s Word. CBIS is a member of the Association of Christian Schools International and is accredited by the Accrediting Commission International.
Statement of Faith
We believe: – The Bible (Old & New Testaments) is the inspired, infallible, and inerrant Word of God.
– God is Triune: Father, Son, and Holy Spirit.
– Jesus Christ was born of a virgin, lived sinlessly, died vicariously for our sins, rose bodily, ascended to heaven, and will return bodily to establish His Millennial Kingdom.
– Salvation is by grace through faith, with new birth through the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit.
– The Holy Spirit indwells believers and baptizes them into the body of Christ at conversion.

• A completed Student Application.
• High school diploma or GED required for degree programs (may enroll prior to completion with documentation).
